Embedded text or transcript | West Ham and the Arsenal met for the third time yesterday to see how many times they could get off-side. They were caught at it exactly 30 times. One however has to give credit to the referee For a really well blown match. Neither side showed the slightest inclination to score a goal. They have been in the first round of the cup longer than anybody. I think They meant to starve each other out. We'll wait until they go home to tea and then rush up and get one. It was after 89 minutes tremendous non-play that Kay of West Ham so far forgot himself as to head one into the net. View of the goal for West Ham readers. View of the goal for Arsenal readers. View of the next Arsenal - West Ham cup tie for all my readers. |
