Notes | News: 27 Feb: " .... Tomorrow morning the Queen and Duke, accompanied by King Mahendra and his Queen, are to make the sort flight, about 80 miles, to the shooting camp that has been erected for them in the Taria, the long belt of bush, jungle, and grassland at the south of Nepal. The Duke of Edinburgh will be hampered , it seems, in his shooting tomorrow by an infection (the Palace press officer described it at a whitlow) in his trigger finger. Today his right index finger was bandaged and in a stall." The Times |
