The Premier's Review of the War. Mr Chamberlain gave his weekly statement on the general situation in the House of Commons on Nov. 2. He said that in the past week war operations by land, sea and air had been affected by bad weather, combined with low visibility, and activity on the Western Front had been confined to local raiding parties and occasional artillery fire. There had been a number of encounters with German aircraft engaged in reconnaissance or in attacks on convoys, but no damage had been suffered by our aircraft or ships, while the enemy had suffered some loss, thus confirming the high opinion already entertained of the quality of our fighter aircraft. ...
