Dear Carl,
Here's a blood-curdling example of what I
am sure you will agree is exactly what we should
try to avoid in what I hope will be your Christmas
Eve masterpiece. God, it's a stinker - over
coloured, over-sized, over-everything.
Incidentally, I have just got early copies
of the Annual. I think they have made a pretty
good job of the cover. It's a satisfying volume
altogether.
